DGX User Training at Presidency University, Bangalore
We successfully conducted a DGX User Training at Presidency University, Bangalore, from 11–16 December 2025, following the installation of a cluster of two NVIDIA DGX H200 systems on campus.
The hands-on training enabled participants to effectively leverage the DGX infrastructure for AI, machine learning, data analytics as well as inference use cases relevant to academic and research environments. Participants worked directly on the DGX cluster, gaining practical exposure to real-world AI workflows.
Key highlights of the program included:
- Overview of NVIDIA DGX systems and GPU resource management
- Dataset creation, model training, optimization and inference on NVIDIA GPUs
- Fine-tuning large language models with GPU acceleration
- GPU-accelerated data science and deployment workflowsv
Technologies covered: Kubernetes for GPU workloads, TensorRT, Triton Inference Server, DeepStream, Hugging Face, NIM and RAPIDS — explored at both conceptual and hands-on levels.
Overall, the program empowered participants with a strong understanding of how to harness the DGX H200 cluster for diverse AI workloads and advanced research within the university.
